My son and I had a great time at the @bmwccala open house event at #ReynSpeedShop a couple weekends ago. While we both liked this E30 M3 I was happy to know that my six year old and I were in agreement on our favorite car in the shop which was a silver 2002 under restoration.
Monaco Monday Available ($20 obo) a great original 6.5 x 9 Bernard Cahier photo of Jody Scheckter behind the wheel of the Wolf WR1 on his way to victory at the 1977 Monaco Grand Prix. I wonder if F1 would benefit from another idependent team owner like Walter Wolf?
Available ($25 obo) a original 8x10 photo of famous General Motors design chief Harley Earl with the Corvette Stingray Prototype XP-87. The photo is is good condition with the General Motors identification number written on the back.
Available ($25 obo) a pair of original photos of Porsche 356 America Roadsters that are marked Ludvigsen photo. The first photo of car #55 appears to be Francis Bradley at Edenvale and measures 5 x 7. The other photo of car #79 is believed to be Robert Krinsky at the 1953 Watkins Glen Queen Catherine Cup, it measures 3.25 x 4.5. Porsche 356 America experts please chime in with info.
Available ($10) a original 3.5 x 5 photo of McLaren M8B chassis #M8B/1 in th pits at the 1969 Watkins Glen 6 Hours Can Am race. This car was driven to second place by Denny Hulme behind teammate Bruce McLaren in the sister car.
Available ($10) an original 8x10 photo of the unsuccessful Lotus 63 AWD Formula 1 car being driven by Mario Andretti at the 1969 US Grand Prix. Unfortunately for Mario suspension issues would force him out of the race.
Available ($30 obo) a original 14 x 11 Don Butler photo of the Sunoco Penske Lola T70 Mk3B GT chassis #SL76/139 driven by Matk Donohue and Chuck Parsons to victory at the 1969 24 Hours of Daytona. This photo clearly displays the battle scars the Lola incurred.
Available ($85 obo) a original 1971 Martini International Club poster featuring a great Erich Bauman photo of Helmut Marko storming to the finish of the 1971 Nurburgring 1000km in the Martini Racing Porsche 908/3 where he and Gijs van Lennep finished 3rd. The poster measures approximately 17.75 x 14.5 and in as new condition and has never been hung.
