"Roadside Roundup" A Photo book I just had published. There are 30 stunning photographs of ranch work horses. They were gathered near a fence line on Highway 82/114 before you get the Guthrie, Texas. I stopped, got out of my car with camera to my side and out of site so the horses wouldn't get spooked. I walked very slowly toward them, reached down pulled up some fresh green grass on my side of the fence and dropped the handful over the fence. They looked up but didn't move. A couple of them looked over my way with a very cautious eye. I have learned a lot from @jerodfoster about being patient as a photographer and to approach photo shoots like this with a minimal amount of interference in the animals environment. DM me if you would like to purchase one. The book is printed on Archivial ProLine Pearl Photo 140# a very high quality paper. You won't be disappointed!! The Fujifilm Camera XT-2 and a Fujifilm 90mm lens(a great portrait lens) waiting for action. This shot was taken(iPhone photo) in the Back Porch of Sugarbrowns Coffee located at 1947 19th St. They have a really great cup of coffee and I have used the back area to do a couple of photo shoots as have other photographers.
There is an ancient text that says, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, a whole field of wheat will grow from that one seed. And so it is with human nature being alone produces loneliness and aloneness, but when one is willing to be broken open the results a field of friends. This photograph was taken at sunset in a pasture near a small town in Georgia. Taken with Fujifilm XT2 and a Fujifilm 50mm. #fields#wheat#humanbeing#b&w #photography#getoutside#landscapephotography#change#fujifilmxt2#50mm
