Random story number _____ of Stefania interacting with strangers. (Those who know me know that I love to talk to people, I smile at passersby, I look at people when they talk, but funniest of all, I always seem to strike up conversations with random people.)
This hat was a crucial part in a recent encounter this past Sunday during the LA marathon. Of all the places, in a sea of unknown faces, I spotted a man wearing the same hat as me! I was shocked to see it since it was the only one of its kind when I bought it on a trip over the summer. Needless to say my excitement and curiosity got the better of me and I quickly crossed the flow of runners just to say hi to this complete stranger. *(His name was John by the way)*
We chatted, I met his two children, listened to the story of how he came to posses the hat, and helped him track his brother who was running the race. All in all, it was awesome!
What's the point of the story? Well, that's for you to discern. Maybe I just thought I'd procrastinate from studying for a few more minutes to share a story I thought was cool .
A little man in a big world, he sees only possibility. The mind of a child is always curious and ever imaginative, often delighting in playing a game of hide and seek or tickle monster. Simple things can lead to bursts of laughter, because, why not?
Be like Mitchell.
Be a little more carefree.
Be a little more curious.
Most important of all, don't be afraid to stop and climb on top of the monkey bars every once in a while. #gazingupwards#simplethings#photography#silhouette#childhoodmemories#littleman#kids
