#TricepTuesday is that a thing? In my opinion weighted dips is still one of the best exercises for triceps (& chest) I feel like I see more people overlooking the older & harder exercises for a fancier alternative. What’s your favorite tricep exercise???
Spend less time with a screen in your face and more time talking with others & living life. I have cut my screen time down each week for the past 6 weeks, and I’m so happy I did. Even tho I work with computers and l phones I have still found a way to cut back.
Some clips from chest training this morning. First movement being an Incline smith press followed by a slight incline DB press. The first post you will see me testing my active range of motion then trying not to go past that point before unracking the bar. If you can’t bring your arms past a certain point without any load why do you think it’s a good idea to force it there with a barbell? Im also using a reverse band set up to try and overload the top end of the press. In the second video you will see that I’m pausing in the stretch position for 1-2 seconds, to try and tax the pecs in stretched position. Past 6-8 months I can say since changing my thought from moving maximal loads to working in my active range of motions with weights I can control through those active ranges as well as improved my shoulder health. Working up to only 1-2 work sets on most exercises. Hit 500x6 off 4 mats then did 4x6 w/ 60 seconds of rest with the same weight that I did last week, progressing in reps & not load. The goal right now in this phase is conditioning & feeling the targeted muscle.
