This one, featuring one of our client homes, out just a little longer. Not that I strictly do Hamptons, more light and airy sun-filled Queenslanders (swipe right), but they share a lot of the same features and it’s a beautiful mag so I’ll take it!

Dark, dark floors and white, white walls. So Frenchy...so chic! And the trick to open shelves? Don’t overfill them (in my other job as a mag stylist, I usually end up removing a third of everything). In this client project we added custom sepia/mustard studded chairs and a @lamaison_australia chandelier. Pic by @mindicooke for @homebeautiful

Before and after client project with a ridiculously quick one week turnaround (the client was selling). Felt like we were on one of those horrible TV shows but ironically it was a lot of fun! @johndownsphotography

Kitchens look prettiest styled with items made from real materials. Marble, metal, bone china and linen. Shot by @mindicooke styled by me.

A floaty sheer almost always looks beautiful but just as importantly (in Brisbane anyway!) it softens the glare whilst still letting the light penetrate. One of my favourite clients ever, the gorgeous Sarah with her 9m sheer (and we’re just about to add to it, so it may become the longest sheer in the world!) @mindicooke

Styling before and after. Swipe for the pre-styling mess (largely of our own making). Creative project with @elouise_photographer

Located to the side of the previous kitchen, the client’s say this is THE most used space in the house. Would you do a breakfast nook? @mindicooke @homebeautiful

Breaking the bread, or in this case the croissant, Luci in her family’s beautiful kitchen. Her mum cleverly incorporated an additional small dishwasher next to the breakfast nook so the kids could load their own plates before school. Genius. Styled by me, shot by @mindicooke for @homebeautiful

The first thing I think of when I wake up...tea! And you might as well have it in a beautiful teacup. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune, I found this vintage Wedgewood set in an op shop x

Evermore front door. So pretty. We’ve shot two of their homes lately for Home Beautiful. My friend Simone’s coastal home is in the current issue (Oh my God it’s gorgeous, you walk in the front door and look straight through to the beach!) and we’ve got this Bulimba home coming out, just trying to get one last shot of a reticent bachelor, wish us luck..! @homebeautiful @evermoredesignedhomes @mindicooke
