When we designed labels for the heritage rooms at the #HarlandandWolff #DrawingOffices we knew they had to be pretty special, so we chose materials that wouldn't have looked out of place back when it was the headquarters of the world's largest ship builder.

We combined timber frames, that match the woodwork throughout the building; engraved bronze insets, inspired by plaques found on the engines of those great ocean liners; and vitreous enamel text panels, that will looks as good in ten or twenty years time as they do now.

#TodaysTandemOffice.

Nice to get back into @drawingoffices and to talk about the #interpretativedesign we developed for #titanichotelbelfast — drawing out (pardon the pun) the amazing stories of a special building.

🎶 It's beginning to look a lot like an annual festive celebration observed primarily as a religious and cultural occasion that has been influenced, over centuries, by pre-Christian, Christian and secular traditions and themes. 🎶

Altogether now!…

From John Grant's New Marketing Manifesto, published way back in 1999. Doesn't it sound a bit like interpretation?

Big cups or small hands? We can't be sure, Sandra, Sheila and Andrew are exploring the west of Ireland for three days. Refuelling wherever they can.
