"YES DRILL SERGEANT!" Did you ever have an encounter like this at basic?
Lethal, Agile, Combat Ready!
This is what a #paratrooper looks like when he is just 10 feet above the ground. This is a sight that is feared by our enemies, a #Sky#Soldier descending from the heavens who is trained and ready for battle. #USArmy

A #WWII historic #paratrooper jumped from a vintage Douglas C-47 wearing the uniform of the paratroopers who jumped into this very drop zone at Sainte Mere Eglise, France 74 years ago. These historic jumpers were joining a multi-national #parachute demonstration being conducted by the 173rd Airborne Brigade which included paratroopers from France, Holland, Germany, Romania and the United States.
For those of you that live in Austin, what are some good things about the city?
Earlier today, #USArmy leaders announced #Austin, Texas as the new home of #ArmyFutures Command. Austin provides AFC the best opportunities to partner with academia, industry, and innovators in the private sector as it leads the Army’s modernization efforts, while providing Futures Command personnel a quality of life they deserve and a cost of living they can afford. This new command will lead the Army’s #modernization process and will focus on provide our #Soldiers the weapons and equipment they need, when they need them, to fight and win our Nation’s wars, and come home safely.
When they announce #OldSchool day at work.
