THE ABS... OLUTE TRUTH Getting a six pack is one of the most requested bits of information I receive, talk about and is what I truly desired when I decided to get lean. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's the walking symbol of hard work, dedication and consistency. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To get one does indeed require hard work but let's make the training smarter rather than harder? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅Your body fat needs to be low. If you currently can't see any definition you need to get yourself in that calorie deficit by tracking your food and moving more. It will vary from person to person but aim for less that 12% for guys and 18% for ladies. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅Training your abs will certainly help you achieve the six pack sooner. Be sure though to do more than just crunches. Hanging leg raises, side bends, reverse crunches and the plank are just a few of my favourites. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅Compound exercises will fast-track this process. Allowing you to build more muscle all over your body, increasing your calorie burn and boosting your metabolism are all aids you need in the fight against that stubborn body fat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅Time & Patience are needed. Depending on where you are this may be a long process but if you really want it you'll give it the time it needs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅Consistency is key. You will mess up occasionally. Miss a workout, overeat? As long as you get straight back on with the plan these minor blips will have little significance. Remember you will ALWAYS succeed as long as you don't quit! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Go get that six-pack you've always wanted 💪 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Train smarter not harder!
