So we all know not to mess with time travel and especially NOT to change the past.
But! (there’s always a “but”) what if you could save someone’s life if you did? What if that someone is your mom? Would you go back? -
I began reading #thesummerofimpossiblethings written by @rowanmcoleman a few weeks ago as my first summer read and I’m hooked.
I loved, loved, loved Stephen Kings 11/22/63 and this sort of reminds me of that book. And the film Time Travellers Wife if you’ve seen it. -
This story is set in 2007 / 1977 Brooklyn, NYC where we get to follow Luna and her sister Pea in their quest in trying to save her mothers life through a loophole in time. -
Thank you for including me in the #Bookstagram tour @eburybooks / @penguinrandomhouse 🧡
Coolest building in #Oxford It kinda’ looks like a very iconic house portrayed in the Harry Potter films - can you name it?
Needless to say, I #Scotland and Edinburgh
Comment if you’re Scottish. We shall become besties. Also, soooo many asked about the J.K Rowling pub I posted about yesterday (story can still be viewed) and I wish I had better news than this but it’s only temporary and a PR stunt of sorts by Nicholson’s Pubs to shed light on an upcoming light installation exhibit in Edinburgh. (Not HP related) Oh well, it was pretty cool nevertheless ♀️ #Edinburgh#JKRowling

I got some pretty awesome gifts this weekend which I’ll share with you soon, but today I want to show you a new notebook range by @pottermore which they sent over the week before Christmas
They’re all black with different #HarryPotter quotes and prints. Can you guess which book mentioned this quote by Ginny Weasley? #Pottermore#sp
Can you guess my location? Leave your guess in the comments and I’ll shout out the winners Hint: it’s pretty bookish..
Thank you @leilahalipoetry for sharing your first published collection of poems with me
I always support longtime followers and I’m so proud of her for getting this book out there. I’ve shared my favorite of her short poems on the next slide in the album
Let me know what you think of it in the comments.
Do you read poetry? Who are your favorites?
Mine are probably Homer and Whitman #Poetry#LeilahAli
A big thank you to @wearelumos for Thursday nights magical adventure!! If you followed my story you know that I went to a private event hosted by them at the @britishlibrary where I got to mingle with stars such as Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, Jason Issac, Alison Sudol, Evanna Lynch and more whilst visiting the: • Harry Potter: A History of Magic Exhibition and it was absolutely STUNNING!
(swipe for more photos - they all signed my book!! )
I can’t recommend the exhibition enough - please make sure you go if you are in/or can make it to London. .
I'm so proud and honored to be working with @wearelumos supporting their mission The past year that I’ve been with them they’ve done some amazing work helping institutionalized children worldwide to find families - the goal is to end institutionalization for children, for good by 2050.
Please consider helping them and supporting their mission #WeAreLumos

It’s #BrainsBeforeBrawns Tuesday (just made that up haha) and I have a riddle for you guys. Comment your answers below. You approach two talking doors. One door leads to the City of Truth, while the other door leads to the City of Liars. You do not know which door is which. You are able to ask only one YES or NO question to determine which door is which. The door that leads to the City of Liars always speaks lies, while the door that leads to the City of Truth always speaks the truth. You want to go to the City of Truth.
What question do you ask to determine which door leads to the City of Truth?
